Murder charge brought against man after 2 bodies found

Relationship problems can cause people to act irrationally. Of course, if someone takes his or her actions too far, somebody else could end up hurt or, worse, killed. Domestic-related incidents are tricky matters to address, and if someone faces a murder charge stemming from relationship problems, understanding available defense options is often necessary.

One man in Texas is currently facing a murder charge after the deaths of two individuals. According to reports, a student at Texas A&M called police after finding a hole in the wall of her room. The student indicated that it looked like something had shot through her wall and hit her calendar on the opposite wall. Authorities came to investigate and found the bodies of a 20-year-old woman and her 19-year-old sister in the residence hall. It was noted that the older woman's 2-year-old son was injured in the incident and was in the care of other family members.

Though it was unclear what may have led to the fatal shooting, authorities took the 21-year-old man into custody after information from witnesses helped them identify the man. He was apparently the older woman's ex-boyfriend and had reportedly been taken into custody on an aggravated assault charge the week before the shooting after allegedly attacking the woman. Now he faces a charge of capital murder.

Murder charges are among the most serious that a person could face. This young man undoubtedly wants to handle the ordeal as best as possible. In efforts to create a meaningful defense presentation, he may want to gain information on his available options from local Texas legal resources.
